  3. This menu has different tools that can be used with your documents.

  5. Preview Document
  6.  
  7. Allows you to use your world wide web browser to preview your current document.

  9. Scan Document For Tags
  10.  
  11. Allows you to automatically scan your document for tags and to label them in the font, size, style and color specified in the preferences window (see 'Preferences' under the 'Edit' menu).

  13. Scan Document for Special Characters
  14.  
  15. Allows you to automatically scan your document for non-standard characters (special characters) and to replace them with their equivalent HTML tag (if available).
  16. Note: The characters " & < > will NOT be translated.

  18. Edit Simple Tags

  20. Allows you to easily create, edit and delete format tags and special character tags.

  22. Insert Date

  24. Inserts the current date in your document.

  28. Inserts the current time in your document.

  30. Open URLΓǪ

  32. Opens a URL using the correct Internet client. Note: You must have Internet Config installed to use this feature.

  34. Scan For Valid Tags

  36. Checks the validity of the tags in your current document. Note: The checking World Wide Web Weaver does is no better than the average spell checker, though it will find the most common mistakes.

  38. Scan For Illegal Characters

  40. Scans your document for any characters that would be considered illegal by HTML standards. Illegal characters are 8 bit characters and a few 7 bit characters.

  42. Convert Selection to HTML

  44. Converts the selected text to HTML.

  46. Remove Tags
  47.  
  48. Removes the tags from the selected text. If no text is selected, all tags from the current document are removed.
